This Privacy Policy explains how RevealIO Quantlab Private Limited ("RevealIO", "we", "us"), CIN U62099TZ2026PTC038350, with its registered office at 48, Subramaniyam Street, Cheran Nagar, Modachur, Gobichettipalayam, Erode, Tamil Nadu 638476, India, collects and handles personal data through the website revealio.in and the TakTo platform (takto.in / app.takto.in). 2. Scope

This policy applies to visitors of our website and to schools, teachers, students and parents who use TakTo. Where a school or institution provides TakTo to its students, the institution determines the purposes of processing student data, and RevealIO acts as its data processor.

3. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email, role (admin, teacher, student, parent) and the associated school.
• Learning data — activity, progress, scores, quiz and revision responses generated while using TakTo.
• Audio recordings — short voice recordings you submit for the Pronounce and JAM speaking features, used to generate pronunciation and speaking feedback.
• Usage and device data — basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

4. How we use information

• To provide learning features and generate feedback, scores and analytics.
• To operate, secure, support and improve the platform.
• To meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

We do not use student data to serve advertising, and we do not sell personal data.

5. Legal basis & consent (DPDP Act, 2023)

We process personal data on the basis of consent and for the legitimate purpose of delivering education, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where students are involved, the school or the parent provides the necessary consent.

6. Children's data & parental consent

TakTo is used by K-12 students, many of whom are under 18. Under the DPDP Act, processing a child's personal data requires the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian. We obtain such consent through the student's school and/or parents. We do not carry out behavioural tracking, targeted advertising, or any processing likely to cause harm to children, and we do not sell children's data.

7. Where your data is stored (data residency)

All personal data processed through TakTo is stored and processed within data centres located in India.

8. Sharing & disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We share it only: (a) with the student's own school or institution; (b) with service providers and processors who support the platform under contractual confidentiality and security obligations; and (c) where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege and role-based access controls, and monitoring to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data using industry-standard measures.

10. Data retention

We retain personal data while the relevant account is active and the institution requires it, and as required by applicable law, after which we delete or anonymise it.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@revealio.in. For students, requests are handled together with the school.

12. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the DPDP Act, you may contact our Grievance Officer: Gayathri Sundarasamy (Founder & Managing Director), email grievance@revealio.in. We acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.

13. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to operate and secure the service, and minimal analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
